Hey, remember that moratorium on tax lien sales that Mayor Gray called for yesterday? It may not go into effect. The office of the Chief Financial Officer has said that this moratorium won't occur without a vote from the City Council and unless that happens, those tax lien sales will still occur. Also, they state that most of the truly egregious offenses brought up in the Washington Post story happened over six years ago. [WCP]
