Which Music Loving Team Picked the Better Building Name?

New, 1 comment

We were pretty impressed with the team involved with naming the Louis at 14th development. How could we not be? They successfully made a great double entendre referencing the location and a famously decadent monarch. Plus, we were pretty sure that it was the only new development paying homage to a legendary musician. Well, we were wrong. Apparently, there's a pair of once-vacant buildings on Otis Place facing each other now called The Otis and The Redding. Admittedly, they're much smaller apartment buildings and they reference an artist that has no ties to D.C. but it's all still pretty amusing. We've got a poll after the jump where you can vote on who did the better job naming their building.
