Stars are an oft-used symbol and can stand any number of different things. However, it's hard to believe that these stars on the facade of this Columbia Heights house have been placed there solely to advertise military achievements or a love of astronomy when three red stars also exist in the city's flag. Admittedly, these three red stars are arranged vertically and there are no accompanying red bars on this townhouse, but it something about this still screams District Pride. Hey, the Three Stars Brewing company has the stars arranged vertically! If we're completely off base, let us know in the comments.
