Washington-based online boutique Anthom is heading offline for the first time next week. The newly launched brand picked an appropriately stylish venue for their pop-up event, setting up shop at L2 Lounge in Georgetown on Wednesday, August 21st from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
"We have a large and loyal following in Washington, D.C. and wanted to give our customers an opportunity to see and shop our entire collection in person," Anthom co-founder Carla Cabrera said via email. "The craftsmanship is beautiful to see and touch in person and we wanted our shoppers to have that tactile experience." Anthom's inventory at the event will include summer and early fall merchandise from independent labels and new and local designers.
And the simplicity of L2's interior design appealed to Cabrera as a location for Anthom's first pop-up. "We liked the sleek minimalist environment with rough exposed brick details and thought it complimented the Anthom brand," Cabrera said.
The event is free and open to the public with room for about 300 guests, and RSVPs are appreciated. Anthom is also partnering with Gilt City for the pop-up, offering up to 50% off Anthom merchandise both online and at the event, snacks, a glass of champagne, and a free sterling silver stacking ring with purchase for those who purchase a Gilt City deal. Hurry, though. Cabrera expects that deal to sell out by Friday.
