A Hugh Jacobsen Home Hits the Market in Arlington

New, 6 comments

A four bedroom home from one of the D.C. area's most famous modern architects, Hugh Jacobsen has just hit the market. Jacobsen designed this home 4,530 square foot home in the 1960s and everything from the guest house to the bathroom is pretty eye catching. Needless to say, we're not terribly surprised that the current owners of this house are big fans of modern art. There are sculptures and paintings in every room; including the bathroom. Of course, considering the heavy use of glass on the stairway and interesting curvature in the kitchen, it's fair to say this home is modern art. The four bedroom is on the market for just under $1.5 million.
