This is baffling: the real estate research firm Delta Associates say that there are fewer new condos being built or marketed right now in D.C. than there has been for the past ten years. How is that even possible, you may ask, when central D.C. seems to have turned into one big construction zone. Yet, the 2,457 new condos under construction or on the market is down from last year and way down from the 20,000 in 2007. Photo by Flickr user allison_dc. [UrbanTurf]
