If the three restaurants from Jose Andres seem like a bit of a hike from Chevy Chase, it will at least be easy to appreciate the ease of preparing gourmet meals in a kitchen he designed! That's right, the man behind minibar, barmini and Oyamel designed the kitchen of this remodeled five bedroom colonial home on McKinley Street. The setup on the island provides a lot of room next to the stove for chopping and mixing and the microwave looks seamlessly integrated into the kitchen cabinets. The current owners are taking advantage of this by also putting a colossal dining room table in the adjacent room with colorful low hanging lights. Additionally, there's a smaller kitchen in the basement which is adjacent to what appears to be a game room. We know that Andres' organization World Central Kitchen builds kitchens in developing nations, but this is the first we've noticed a gourmet kitchen in a private home with his name attached as the designer. The five bedroom home is asking just under $1.2 million.
