A one bedroom efficiency on U Street for $1085 a month sounds like a pretty good deal, especially considering that it comes with a washer/dryer. That said, the lofted bed (which thereby makes room for a chair and...guitar on the wall?) is the sort of thing that most people tend to give up upon graduation from college. We've been looking for Craigslist listings at this level of weirdness ever since our Curbed New York team found this Tumblr entitled The Worst Room. The thing is, we're sure the current tenant still probably has at least 20 curious applicants because nobody is able to rent for $1085 a month on U Street.
