The approval of the Large Retailer Accountability Act has been one of the most hotly contested decisions that the D.C. Council has made recently. While Wal-Mart and other large retailers have been urging Mayor Vincent Gray to veto the bill, he won't have that option for awhile. Yes, there's quite the buzz surrounding this act but the bill probably will not get to his desk for another couple of weeks. [WAMU]
