The 1000 Block of Monroe Street NW: D.C.'s Most Fun Facades?

The narrow, winding block between 11th Street and Sherman has two of the most fun facades we've seen in the city. First on this small, otherwise uneventful street we have a house, which is, for starters, a distinct tangerine color. Additionally, there are two ceramic lions guarding the doorway of the house. Is that not enough fun for your morning? Then go a few doors down to a home whose texture and dark green coloring makes it look as if it's covered in astroturf. Check out the full gallery.
