Office Spaces

Sir Paul McCartney graced our city with his presence on Friday night and the site of his first D.C. appearance in 1964 will soon have a new use. Uline Arena (which was called Washington Coliseum at the time) has also been home to Eisenhower's inaugural ball, boxer Joe Louis' first professional bout and a host of basketball games. Most recently, it's been reduced to a parking structure, but Douglas Development will redesign the space for office and retail as well as above ground parking. [GGW]
