The number of historic buildings in D.C. ensures that many new developments would have to blend in elements of the past. The new apartments at City Market at O is a prime example. Yes, they have lots of modern amenities such as a dog park on the roof but the original brick building remains as the construction goes on around it. We have a few shots of the new construction adjoining the old O Street Market after the jump. Do you think that the design team has done a good job of blending the historic structure with the new space?
