Ah, protestors. They're part of what makes D.C. unique. They make life for government office workers exciting and sometimes they camp out in green spaces for months on end. More importantly, they often have some sort of human rights based point. In this case, the protestors that woke up Binghamton, New York's Mariana G. and her fiancé at 7:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning were the hotel's union representatives and members who were unhappy with their redone contract. Says Mariana, "The trouble wasn't that the protesters woke us up as much as that we support their cause."
