Can't Pay $5M to Live Near Bob Woodward? How's $16K/Month?

New, 2 comments

It seems that the Georgetown villa at 3023 Q Street NW built by D.C.'s first governor, Henry Cooke, is still on the market a month later. Even the promise of living next door to living journalism legend Bob Woodward has not been enough of a draw for anyone to shell out the $5 million asking cost. As such, the owners are going a new route, offering the 8500 square foot, 7 bedroom home up for rent for $16,000 a month. Alternately, if seven enterprising young historians or journalists wanted to split up the rent and live next door to one of the men who broke the Watergate Scandal, they could each pay $2,286 a month.
