Construction on the rental and retail spaces that will neighbor the 9:30 Club could begin in July. As we learned back in October, the spaces are slated to play host to a six screen indie theater, apartments with eco-friendy amenities and subsidized art studios. Developer JBG Companies told Borderstan that they expect to get their raze permits as early as next week. Although the project plans to use bricks from the abandoned Atlantic Plumbing Company building that's currently standing there, could this be the end of D.C.'s most disgusting wall?
