Looks like the Springfield Mall isn't the only mall in Virginia poised for an overhaul. Howard Hughes Corporation, one of the owners of Alexandria's Landmark Mall, has offered up $4.5 million to contribute to the city's projects as part of its redevelopment proposal. Hughes also has a conversion plan for the space between the Sears and Macy's which will ultimately need to be approved by those two retailers. [WBJ]
