Look at you, Bloomingdale. Yesterday the first $1M+ sale in eight years closed there and now we hear of plans for a condo and restaurant project a few blocks away. The restaurant, which probably would be more of a neighborhood hangout than high-end would be on the ground floor along with a studio apartment. The other 8 one-bedroom units will be between 650 and 750 square feet and owner Frank Economides tells Urban Turf that he hopes to acquire a public space permit so as to turn that outdoor space into a patio. A patio would also brighten the grim facade of what's currently an empty building.
