Curbed is pleased to announce that Valerie Paschall has joined the DC team as Editor. Valerie moved to the DMV (Silver Spring) in 2007 and, after enduring both the Maryland and Virginia suburbs for a year, moved into D.C. proper. After a string unfortunate moves within the city she scored a spot by an awesome taqueria and a Capital Bikeshare station and hasn't looked back. She comes to us with three years of experience as the Music Editor for DCist, so she's very familiar with the interiors of the city's basements, due to a healthy schedule of DIY concerts. She does stand-up comedy to keep herself sane and we're excited she has joined us.
