Sad news. Jack Kay, a successful DC area home builder during the 1950s and '60s passed away on Sunday at the age of 87. Apparently at a time he owned 20,000-30,000 apartment units. He was also a philanthropist, donating mainly to educational and Jewish charities. His mark on DC will be remembered. [WP]
