The Boilermaker shops are one of the new retail components planned for The Yards, the mega development at the Navy Yards site. The first business has already moved in, a cleaners, but the rest are expected in the next few months. In the meantime, they just updated the facebook page with more images of the Boilermaker space and it looks rather industrial. Nice to see that the gritty "Navy Yards" feel has not all been lost. From what we can guess, most of these images are in the space that will be the Bluejacket Brewery. The megaproject's residential building named Twelve12 is adjacent to Boilermaker and also coming along as excitement builds about the Harris Teeter and Vida Fitness that will be housed in there.
