Lock 7 Development's Kalorama Condo Project Gets Opposed

A planning, zoning and transportation committee said "no, thanks," to Lock 7 Development's plans for 16 condos. The project is supposed to restore two row houses and add to the back of both. Leading neighbors to complain,

"What is going to stop all the neighbors from having their backyards filled with structures like this?"The project has already been altered to appease the community, with the additions made shorter and the buildings set further back. But the additions are still bigger than the existing rowhouses and neighbors don't want everything condo-i-fied so that there's no space left. The project is supposed to go before the Historic Preservation Review Board in the next few weeks.
