Fourteenth street at U street will never be the same. Earlier today, a tipster sent in a few shots of the progress at the Louis At Fourteenth development, which is supposed to top out at nine floors. The building's 268 rental apartments are going to wear a rooftop pool like a hat, which we rather prefer to a the Sun King's wig on the logo (the development is named for King Louis XIV of France; it previously went by Utopia Project). Last we heard, construction will be completed later this year. 14th street locals: how are we feeling about the scale of this right now?
