H&M Comes To Union Station; J.Crew Adds In Tysons

UNION STATION—Out with the old and in with the new. With the closing of Barnes & Noble, Union Station's vacant space is being filled by Swedish retailer H&M. So Instead of commuters grabbing the latest copy of The Economist or another work from Dan Brown, they can pick up the latest trendy pieces from the fast-fashion retailer. [PoP]

TYSONS—The new J.Crew Men's Shop is opening up in Tysons Galleria this May. Despite already having a J.Crew in the shopping destination, the men's shop will have a selection of clothes perfect for the preppy male. [McLean Patch]

SPRINGFIELD—With the booming Mosaic District in Merrifield and the many offerings in Tysons, Springfield Mall is attempting to revamp to keep area shoppers excited. The mall is becoming less of a mall and more of a lifestyle center and is looking to reopen in mid-2014. [WBJ]
