For a town that is filled with one colonial after another this pointy creation is a welcome change to the landscape. Architect Mark McInturff—who designed projects like the new Woolly Mammoth Theatre, the Cady's Alley building, and the Avenue Suites Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue—was also the creative mastermind behind this house plus guest cottage. The huge panes of glass appear to almost touch the ground, practically blending right into the surface of the infinity pool. The glass wall theme continues on the inside where you can look down on the master bedroom from an observation deck. Normally this is where a listing would boast about having hardwood floors throughout, but not in this departure from the norm. How about stacked stone walls and flagstone floors on the interior? But the bedrooms do have wood floors so it's homey. The sellers are keeping the exact location and asking price a secret for now, but mucho millions is our guess.
