Another residential building is going to take over a parking lot near Logan Circle. This time it is the Zipcar lot at 14th and Corcoran Streets that will have a seven-story apartment building with 48 units. To keep things simple the building is called The Corcoran At 14th and since the surrounding neighborhood has pretty much everything close by there won't be much in the way of built-in amenities for the residents. Though the penthouses might have balconies and private terraces. The plan is to begin construction at the end of this year so it can be finished by the end of 2014. The building will contain about 38,000 square feet of space, but 4,000 square feet will be set aside for ground floor retail. There will also be space for fifteen parking spots.
