New, 1 comment

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various local neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $1,200.

? This is a two bedroom 'cozy' condo for $1,200 a month. The Trinidad unit is in a four unit building at 1208 16th St NE and one of those bedrooms is extra-cozy.

? This one bedroom in a shared two bedroom condo is walking distance from Ballston. The tenant moving out needs someone to cover their lease until October 24th, but the beauty is March rent has already been paid. So that's $1,287 saved.

? This studio on Georgia Avenue comes with an in-unit washer and dryer, newly renovated kitchen, and no furniture for $1,250. Rent includes heat (gas) utilities and water but not electric.

? A 'beautiful efficiency' in Shaw for $1,250 a month. Seems big enough from the pictures, but not a ton of natural light.

? This downtown Silver Spring one bedroom includes all utilities for $1150 per month, but there is an extra unspecified fee for having a washer/dryer in the unit.
