The building Cafritz Development wants to build in Chevy Chase has the local community riled up for a number of reasons—traffic, size, and its contemporary style are the big ones—and now they've got a new website that lays out all the issues on the project in one place. There's a petition that they need people to sign and contact info for the public officials who may have some influence on the development. Since Cafritz received approval 22 years ago there are no legal requirements for them to go through any more presentations to the community but they've stated they will try to address the concerns of the people who live there. The plot twists, however, since principal Jane Cafritz said during the first meeting with community members that the building's facade didn't have to be built of glass if they didn't want it to be but then she told the Post later that it would be made of glass. Is this a saga yet?
