The McMillan Sand Filtration Site on North Capitol Street has seen many iterations of the plan to change up the space. Word is the newest version will have a one-acre park in the site's NE corner, row houses have been eliminated from Channing Street, more room for wheels, and more space to roam. To make sure there's a wide array of people living here, the plan allots space for affordable housing but not necessarily senior housing. Also included is rumors of a "premium" grocery store for the site, so let's dream big.
