The trend started with NoMa's Archstone First & M, but this past Monday the real estate development company Fisher Brothers broke ground on another apartment building just east of Union Station that is also going to come with an indoor pet spa. That will make a total of two for the city, but they're also upping the ante with an exterior dog walk reserved for residents. This is all part of the Station Place development that will bring some office and retail space along with 377 apartments (mostly one and two bedrooms) and 309 parking spaces. Designed by the Rockwell Group, they've released some images of the common areas and the aerial rendering to show how the development will fit in to the existing site, but we have to use our imagination for the pet spa and some of the other amenities such as the rooftop eco-pond and community gardens, the gaming lounge, the library room, the business lounge (as opposed to the media hub), and tasting kitchens.
