Local Antique Merchants Bring Work Home In Blagden Alley

The good folks behind U Street's mercantile and dry goods store GoodWood live in carriage house in Blagden Alley that has their lovingly eclectic touch in every corner and now we can see it for ourselves. Anna and Dan Kahoe let Garden & Gun get up close and personal with their 1887 home's vintage vibe that they put together based on finds from all over Virginia and Maryland, plus some renovation work. They turned the main floor into a completely open plan for parties while the upstairs became a loft-like bedroom. The upper level floor is painted with bright blue chevrons just to change things up from the other surprising finds that adorn space. Do check out the photos.
