This Historic Sears Home is Free (With Shipping and Handling)

One lucky Arlingtonian will have the chance to own this historic little 1920s home for free...kinda. It seems that the person who recently bought this tiny 996 square foot home for $750K back in September actually needs more room than the old-fashioned put-it-together-yourself home from Sears provides. So, instead of demolishing the house or tacking on additions (or, ya know, retroactively buying a house that actually makes sense for their famililal needs), the owner is giving the house away to whomever is willing to move it. So, pay the estimated $50K for transporting it to a new lot and make a promise to preserve the 1920s home and it could be yours for (sort of) free!
