Last week when many D.C. residents were exchanging holiday gifts, a high profile apartment project also got in on the action of giving and receiving. 77H, which is anchored by one of the city's first Wal-Marts, has changed hands from developer JBG to new owners and managers, Clarion Partners. They still aren't leasing and there's no word yet on many of the specifics of the apartments (like square footage or any building amenities aside from the lobby fireplace and roof deck), but for those folks who were itching to live above the Wal-Mart, this is one small (or is it large?) step towards the finish line. We've got the available renderings in the gallery above.
