Yes, you read that correctly, Brightwood Park is the top neighborhood in D.C. where people looked for homes on real estate search website Trulia. So, despite the scant list of neighborhood amenities, the sturdy yet relatively inexpensive row houses have drawn more clicks than neighborhoods like Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle and Georgetown (which are also in the top ten.) It's also entirely possible that more houses have gone on the market in Brightwood Park.
UPDATE: Curbed has been sent a corrected list of the top ten neighborhoods in D.C. where people searched for homes on Trulia and it looks like a mirror image of the original list. Georgetown is the most searched neighborhood in D.C. with Brightwood Park coming in at number ten. That makes more sense, doesn't it? For a change of pace, Dupont Circle is only number two on this list! It seems like lately, they've topped everything from most walkable to best delivery option. Also of note, Stanton Park, coming in at number five, is the only neighborhood in either Northeast or Southeast D.C. to break the top ten. We've got that list of neighborhoods where people want to live after the jump.
