H Street is about to be overrun with people that are in really good shape. The owners of CrossFit DC will be opening a new outpost called CrossFit DC Northeast in the historic building formerly occupied by the H Street Playhouse. Hey, the Atlas District is a growing neighborhood but if there's one thing H Street has been missing, it's two competing CrossFit gyms. Old City CrossFit just opened this past July a mere five blocks away. CrossFit DC Northeast will open up this spring and one can only hope that there will be an MMA style matchup of competing crossfit instructors. Or maybe both will co-exist perfectly fine because not everything in life and real estate is a death match but that's not nearly as much fun.
