It seems the civic-minded Georgetown residents on their Advisory Neighborhood Commission want to put a halt on the demolition of Georgetown's West Heating Plant. Although architect David Adjaye and developer Richard Levy state that the building is too dilapidated to preserve anything more than the facade before rebuilding the site as the city's most expensive condos, the ANC wants a third party to say the same before the wrecking ball comes in.
