It's official: Friday, November 22nd will be the grand opening date for the anticipated Giant at City Market at O. Shaw's next big luxury condo complex revealed that date on their Twitter account this morning and noted that on the first day, they'll be open from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. Of course, this isn't going to be any ordinary grocery store because why would a development that includes a pet grooming station and dog park do anything halfway? This 78,000 square foot Giant, meant to re-create the social feel of the historic O Street Market, will be the city's largest and will include a sushi bar and coffee bar.
