Although some architects are getting creative and building horizontally, there are other D.C. architects that would love to see the Height Act change. Washington City Paper reports that Mary Fitch, executive director of the D.C. chapter of the American Institute of Architects testified that taller buildings would "add visual interest to the skyline."
