D.C. has caught hotel fever! Between the handful of hotels have been announced for the Capitol Riverfront area, the plans for the Patterson Mansion and the Trump Hotel circus, guests to D.C. will have no shortage of places to stay. Now, add another that will be closer than any of these (except possibly the Trump Hotel) to the National Mall. Construction will start before the year's end on a Hyatt Place at the corner of 4th Street and E Street SW. This way there will be 214 rooms for tourists who would rather walk to the monuments than
stand on the left side of the metro escalators brave the train.
