Photo Gallery: 2013 Boat Home Tour at the Waterfront

[All photos by Gerry Suchy]

If the idea of living on the water only appeals to 140 Washingtonians, the thought of just seeing these uniquely mobile homes lures a considerably larger number to the Waterfront. As it has in years past, the annual Boat Home Tour brought a sold out crowd to Gangplank Marina to see what living in the water really looks like. Curbed photographer Gerry Suchy was there to take note of some remarkable similarities. Some of these homes look more like floating houses than say, boats. A few home owners even house bicycles, tiny plants and pets onboard. Check out the full gallery!
