Need an Uber Refresher? Here's Mini-Doc The Uber Wars

Need to catch up on the basics of the great Uber vs. D.C. Taxicab Commission debate? Got eleven minutes? Producer William Beutler (of Beutler Ink) and director Ron Montz put together this brief documentary called The Uber Wars wherein they do a quick overview of the problems that Uber has had operating in D.C. since its existence. At the outset, this looks like a piece of pro-Uber/anti-taxi propaganda but by the end of the film nobody — not the Taxicab Commission, not Uber and especially not the City Council — comes out smelling like roses. If anything, DCTC Chair Ron Linton becomes the most sympathetic character in this film.
