Apparently the intrigue of living like an ambassador hasn't been enough to sell the former Bulgarian Embassy in Brightwood. It hit the market almost a year ago asking $1.425 million and this is the second time since that initial attempt to sell that it's been relisted. The renovated 7 bedroom Beaux Arts home on Rock Creek Park is now asking $1.275 million and still boasts an extraordinarily high living room ceiling that recalls more skiing lodge than international intrigue. But to prove that it actually used to be an Embassy, the living room apparently used to be the grand ballroom. It currently houses cozy couches and a TV so the only dancing in there now is probably Dancing With the Stars, but don't let that stop you from living out dreams of international glamor.
