When last we looked at this building it was going to be a Douglas Development project of mixed-use retail and office space (at one point it was going to have residences on top, but that has been nixed). Douglas Development has changed their tune and are now going all in with retail. Now the plan is for the building to be 13,081 square feet and rise slightly higher to 33 feet with a green roof. Either way it will be better than the depressing KFC that used to sit there. There also won't be any parking spaces, but it is close to the Potomac Avenue Metro station and can anyone say bikeshare?
