DC—It's hard to believe just a few short days ago, the city was awash in Inauguration splendor. Now the hangovers have subsided, everyone's back to work, but some of the more memorable fashion moments remain. Scalia's "interesting" hat certainly received attention, but it was VP Joe Biden's daughter's feather-frocked five-inch heels that were turning heads. [WaPo]
DC—With all the Inauguration build up, the DMV was under the sartorial microscope with various publications looking at how DC denizens rock the duds. The Wall Street Journal highlighted how the city is earning its fashion edge with the inclusion of new tailors and boutiques, such as the new men's store from tailor Michael Andrews. [WSJ]
GEORGETOWN—More changes are on the way for the ever-evolving Shops at Georgetown Park. Currently under renovation, the mall on M Street will be adding a T.J. Maxx to its lineup. [WBJ]
