SHAW—Fundrise—the company that uses crowdsourced funding and community input for their real estate projects—has a new potential site for development. But this time they're having a 'test the waters' phase to make sure there is sufficient interest from the community (but according to their blog more than enough people have expressed an interest after two hours of the post going live). Also, instead of offering iinvestment chits worth $100, this time they're looking for people to buy in at $1,000. [OfficialSite via UrbanTurf]
