What $1,500 Can Rent You Around Washington D.C.

New, 3 comments

Welcome back to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various local neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $1,500.

? Here's a small studio (369 square feet) that the advertisers are calling 'spacious'. But it only costs $1,450 and is on T Street near Dupont Circle.

? This unit is in the Flats At Atlas in the Atlas District, which we have many pictures of from our previous stories, but they've lowered the price to $1,605 for what looks like a studio (but it isn't specified).

? Or there's a one bedroom basement apartment for $1,600 in 16th Street Heights/Petworth area.

? This Columbia Road studio is 550 square feet and comes with a balcony. Rent is $1,625 and includes utilities. It is in the same building as the next unit on the list.

? This Columbia Road sort-of in Adams Morgan/sort-of in Dupont Circle studio is asking $1,550 a month and includes utilities.

? This studio apartment is 489 square feet and the $1,475 per month includes most utilities. The address is 4101 Cathedral Ave and it says it is walking distance to American University.
