DC's Cool Factor

The District has popped up again on the New York Times radar, but this time it is a musing on whether or not the city is hip. With a focus on the growth in cool restaurants—especially the H Street ones visited by the Obamas—the articles implies we might have a fighting chance (despite our taxpayer-funded largesse the same publication mentioned two weeks ago). However, we can't rest on our happenin' laurels just yet. As the article states, "In fairness, even some longtime Washingtonians are dubious." [NYT; previously]
