Now that the car hire service Uber has the stamp of approval from DC (and has moved out of their offices in Dupont Circle) they've reached super hero status. At least according to one of their drivers who says that 'Uber saved the day'. Of course cab drivers might still feel threatened by the company moving in to their piece of the car service pie, but one limo driver says it has added a nice stream of income to his bottom line. Even CNN wanted to find out all about it so one of Anderson Cooper's reporters took a ride with a DC Uber driver and heard about his life before and after Uber.
