What $2,000/month Can Rent You Around Washington DC

New, 2 comments

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, a column that explores what one can rent for a set dollar amount in various local neighborhoods. Is one man's studio another man's townhouse? Let's find out! Today's price: $2,000.

? Capitol Hill's Senate Square will impress the friends and in-laws if you have them over for cocktails. This one bedroom is asking $2,095 for a rather spacious 700 square feet.

? P Street is one of the hottest places to live right now, so this 1 bedroom is a choice property. For $2,173/month it is 670 square feet and comes with access to a rooftop pool. Bonus: all utilities are included in the rent.

? Besides the minimalist gym in this high-rise there's a lot going for this 1 bed/1 bath in Arlington. Available for $1,984 the unit is 1,054 square feet and comes with access to the roof top pool, club room, and business center. It is also the largest unit on our list.

? There are no pictures for this 1 bedroom, but it is in the Avalon at Gallery Place so we can assume it isn't a complete dump. It is 606 square feet and the building has a fitness center, business center, rooftop deck, and is walking distance to Chinatown/Gallery Place Metro.

? The brand new AVA at H Street in the Atlas District has a number of units available in the $2,000 range that range from 558 square feet to 662 square feet (the 558 square foot ones would be the smallest units on our list). Here are some photos of their model unit from our previous coverage.
