Here's an idea for thieves: if you're going to steal from your neighbor who trusts you but you're scared of their dog, just wait until they have the dog put to sleep. The only flaw in the plan is the seven year prison sentence waiting at the end. Barbed wire will be your new neighbor. [WaPo]
