Hugh Newell Jacobsen Masterpiece Chops Then Sells

As nine million dollar listings go this one didn't take too long to sell. In fact it only took about six months and one price chop to move this property off the market. It entered the world of public listings at the end of February and sat with not too much activity until May when it went down to $8.399M. The four bed, 5.5 bath that overlooks the Potomac and has Georgetown-based starchitect Hugh Newell Jacobsen as its designer then stuck around a little while longer before selling for $7M earlier this month. This house is not too far from the home valued at $23M that is going to a foreclosure auction for probably about $9M since that is what is owed.
